Before you submit your proposal, please review the proposal requirements, the criteria for selection and the Conference Strand descriptions.

All proposals must be submitted by February 1, 2019.

Submission Process Overview

All mandatory fields must contain information to proceed.

You will be asked the following items:

  • Title of Presentation: 50 character’s maximum
  • Enter presenter’s name, title, affiliation, contact information
  • Select Strand: choose from a drop-down menu
  • Target Audience: choose from a drop-down menu
  • Presentation Style: choose from a drop-down menu
  • Proposal Description: 500 characters maximum (This will be used in conference program) Please check for errors and content description.

Required Presenter’s Information:

  • Maximum of 4 presenters including the Moderator
  • Double check the contact information is correct and complete to ensure receipt of future communication
  • If you do not have full contact information for a presenter at the time of submission, enter “tbd”.
  • Remember, your proposal will not be considered complete until the “submit” button is selected and you receive an email confirmation letter with an assigned proposal ID number.

Lead Contact
Lead Contact must be a presenter. CCCAOE will only contact the Lead Contact with information regarding the proposed breakout session. Lead contact will be responsible for contacting their presentation team regarding scheduling, etc. All presenters are must register to attend the conference.

Applicants should consider the audience that would most likely gain value from the presentation and the style that would best support a participant-centered session.

CCCAOE reserves the right to edit titles and descriptions for use in conference publications.

Objective and Description

Description:  Enter the proposed description of your presentation. Your description should be an accurate description of what you intend to present.  It should be written to interest CCCAOE members and reference any or all of the below:

  • Innovation or program success
  • Replication/sustainability
  • Impact on student success/retention/graduation
  • Leadership through advocacy
  • Funding, finance and facilities
  • Equity, adequacy and opportunity

Proposals must clearly identify the learner’s outcome, takeaways, tools and strategies attendees will have at the end of the session.

Subject to final editing by CCCAOE.  Remember that sessions run concurrently so attendees must be able to see at a glance what your session has to offer.

The contact person above agrees to the guidelines for submitting proposals and to inform all presenters that they are required to register and pay the conference registration fee and that neither honoraria nor expenses will be paid to program presenters. Presenters who attend for one day are eligible for a special conference rate.
