Health and Wellness Policy

Health and Wellness

Health and Wellness Protocols: CCCAOE is mindful of keeping all event participants healthy, safe, and comfortable. Your health is a top priority for CCCAOE, and every participant — attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and staff — plays a critical role in risk mitigation. We are committed to providing socially distanced seating, hand sanitizer stations, and to mitigating risk in food service at each CCCAOE hosted event. In addition, we recognize and adhere to each venue’s established safety protocols.

We ask every attendee to practice responsible community norms:

  • We openly invite masking.
  • Personal Comfort Zones: Different participants have different comfort zones. Please keep this in mind as you are meeting and mingling throughout the CCCOAE event.
  • If an attendee develops any symptoms of COVID-19 prior to or during a CCCAOE meeting or event, they should refrain from attending. Symptoms associated with COVID-19 may include fever, cough, and shortness of breath, among others. Please refer to the CDC website for a complete list of symptoms.
  • Reconsider the handshake. While it is a long-accepted practice in professional settings, an elbow bump or non-contact greeting helps keep participants from unknowingly transmitting viruses, including the common cold.

CCCAOE’s health and safety guidelines will be reviewed regularly and updated based on state and local requirements and mandates. Updates will be posted on our website as they occur. It is the responsibility of every participant to familiarize themselves with these norms and to be considerate of all.

Participants include registrants, exhibitors/sponsors, presenters, volunteers, service providers (e.g., AV, exposition services, etc.), and all others directly involved with the onsite administration and management of the event.

Our goal is to provide exceptional educational experiences and networking opportunities that make attendees and their agencies more successful in an environment that is safe for all.
