Spring Conference – 2023

WHAT TO EXPECT

CCCAOE’s Spring 2023 Conference will focus on Belonging, Connectedness, Student-Centered Strategies, Work-based Learning, Community Partnerships, hearing the voices of those who aren’t being heard, and HIGHLIGHTING the tremendously innovative work that is happening all across the state. This conference will bring learning to transform the model of career development around sustainable calls to action. The event is a vital component of the growth and development of career education and educators.

 

Join in the energizing opportunity to hear from leaders and peers, who like you, show up every day in their roles as active leaders.

 

Sessions are intended to nurture a sense of community and belonging between all students, faculty, and staff on your campuses, with a focus on innovation in diversity and inclusion for all. Gain knowledge and inspiration that will help you be the best leaders in your classrooms, school districts, and college campuses whether locally, regionally, statewide, or nationally.

ITINERARY

The spring conference will kick off on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 8:30 am at the Hyatt Regency and the Convention Center in Sacramento. There will be three (3) full conference days with powerful keynote presentations and plenary sessions. The conference will wrap up on Friday, April 21, 2023, by noon. There are also pre-conference sessions on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Full Conference – $695

Two-Day Conference Attendance – $525

One-Day Conference Attendance – $275 (Wed or Thur)

 

This conference brings an opportunity for an expanded program and lodging with options at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel. The Hyatt will still serve as the host hotel. Many of the conference activities will now take place at the newly remodeled Sacramento Convention Center!

Are hotel accommodations included in my registration?

No. – All attendees are responsible for covering the cost of their own hotel accommodations

Will meals be provided to attendees?

Breakfast is served daily. Lunch is served on Wednesday and Thursday. A light evening reception is served on Wednesday.

Is there a way to request a refund if I register and am unable to attend?

Yes. – Please consult our refund policy here.
Refunds will take 4 – 6 weeks post conference.

Can I substitute my registration for someone else?

Attendance Substitutes are acceptable. However, after the cancellation deadline, you are responsible for full payment.
Please email substitute’s first and last name, cellphone (for registration purposes) as well as their job title and college/organization affiliation to registration@cccaoe.org for name tag and registration purposes as early as possible.
